In nowa day’s search engines are more important for any website owner which bring customers to his website. So it’s very important that how these search engines actually work and how they show information to the customers initiating a search.

Search Engines are using spiders to index any website. When you submit your website pages to a search engine by completing their required submission page, the search engine spider will index your entire site. A ‘spider’ is an automated program which is run by the search engines. Spider visits a web site, read & grab the content form the site, the site’s Meta tags and also follow the links that the site connects, after that spider returns all that information back to central data-centers, where the data is indexed. They will visit each link you have on your website and index those sites as well.

All spiders will return time to time to the sites to check for any new information that has changed. The frequency with which this happens is determined by the search engine. But if you are frequently adding new and fresh content and you are getting good visits spider visit your site more frequently than other so it’s very good practice to add new and fresh content to your site time by time.

Every search engine has their own algorithms and they indexed and store data according to that, if you search in google and yahoo by any keyword for example Quality SEO Services you see different results in both search engines it is due to there different algorithms. No one exactly know about these algorithms but a best and experienced seo personal can determine this and boost your ranking in Search engines.

Search engines scans for frequency and location of keyword and give them importance for example if you place your keyword in your title tag than you can get rank much easier than other keywords. If we short out the placement of keywords in the structure will follow:

  1. Tile tag
  2. Meta tags
  3. Heading tags
  4. Content keywords
  5. Linked URL
  6. Others (i.e alt tag and etc.)

As stated above every search engines have their own algorithm so it might be possible that every search engine give different important of each keyword placement. So it’s best practice that you will optimize all places with your relevant and desired keyword. But it’s very important that avoid the repeation of keywords on same place because search engines easily found artificial keyword stuffing.

Best of luck 🙂
